The WatersEdge hotel is situated just 20 minutes drive from Cork City on rout R624 just off the primary N25.
Cobh is home to Europe's largest natural harbour where many of the magnificent transatlantic liners have departed from, and was a point of immigration for many of the Irish who emigrated to America during the famine.
The harbour was also the last port of call for the infamous Titanic, all aspects of this historic part of Cork can be explored in the Cobh Heritage Centre located next door to the hotel, The Titanic Trial, which departs daily, and St. Coleman's Cathedral.
If you are fond of Irish Whisky then you will be pleased to know the Jameson Heritage Centre is only 15 minutes from the hotel, where you can learn the history of the whiskey and even sample some of the local produce.
